Where This Season May Lead

We started off this season with our awesome new website True Friends Outdoors. With a few guys and girls ready, we started bear baiting. With all of us, we run six baits and harvested two male bears. We still have one license left to fill and yes it's mine. I had my opportunities. Hopefully there is a couple left.

Now it is archery season here in Minnesota. We have a few good trips planned for this year. A couple of us are heading down to southern Ohio. We have been down there the last few years and seen some real giants. Also there is a lucky lady going to pike county Illinois to hunt the giant booners that haunt those woods. The rest of us are going to be staying in Minnesota. Jimmy, Denver , Dean and myself will be going Camp Ripley to shoot some of those Minnesota bruisers. Hopefully we can get our tags filled before rifle season rolls around.

Then the ice fishing and spearing season will come in. You can expect to see us on area lakes catching panfish and pike. You will also see us trying to catch walleye on Winnie and Lake of the Woods but mostly catching eel pout. We will also be fishing with the kids a lot this year. We will also be throwing spears at some of Minnesota's largest pike. We hope to see you in the woods or on the ice, either place stop in and say hi. Just look for the TFO logo, that's us.
