Winter Hunting Blues

Winter Hunting Blues
February's knocking at the door and in my neck of the woods in Northern Minnesota  that means cold and not a lot of hunting opportunities. I mention this for the simple fact of drumming up some pitty for myself when trying to get motivated to get out and enjoy Mother Nature. I'll be honest. I had none. Where This Season May Lead

We started off this season with our awesome new website True Friends Outdoors. With a few guys and girls ready, we started bear baiting. With all of us, we run six baits and harvested two male bears. We still have one license left to fill and yes it's mine. I had my opportunities. Hopefully there is a couple left. Now it is archery season here in Minnesota. We have a few good trips planned for this year. A couple of us are heading down to southern Ohio. We have been down there the last few years and seen some real giants....
